Fernando's Story

Fernando began a grocery business to support his large family. He has faced difficulties trying to expand and improve his store, due to a lack of investment capital. Also, he must travel a long distance to purchase inventory to stock his store. His goal is to have a profitable business so he can improve living conditions for his family.

With a loan from World Vision, Fernando will purchase larger quantities and greater varieties of inventory, such as sugar, salt, soda and beans. With the additional income he will earn, he will be able to provide the daily necessities for his six children. In the future, Fernando plans to continue to invest in and expand his business. He hopes to add even more variety of products so the number of customers continues to grow.

Fernando

Thank you for supporting the small loan for Fernando Calihua Temoxtle to restock his grocery business. He invested his loan of $325 to purchase soda, salt, beans, sugar and other inventory.

Fernando has now repaid his loan in full. In addition to repaying his loan, Fernando has used his additional income to pay school fees and purchase food, clothing, and medical care for his family.

Fernando's 6 children continue to study in school.

The profits he is earning create lasting improvements in his life. In the future Fernando hopes to continue sending his children to school and expand his business further by offering a greater variety of products to his customers.

Fernando is very grateful for the loan as it has been a big help to his family.
