Hermin's Story

Hermin is a mother of four and lives in a densely populated area in Jatinegara, Jakarta city. She is married, but her husband doesn't have a stable source of income. To support her husband's fluctuating income, she runs a stand selling rice dishes and iced drinks.

Her main challenge in running this business has been a lack of capital to purchase the ingredients which have increased in price. The loan will help her to restock the ingredients and increase her sales in order to generate more income for her family.

As the business grows, she hopes to rent a stand in the nearby hospital's canteen. There she can get even more customers.

The additional income will allow her to pay for her four children's school fees and to meet her family's basic needs.
