Gohar is a cattle farmer from Meghry, Armenia. She currently lacks the capital needed to purchase another cow and expand her farm as she would like.
With a loan through World Vision, Gohar will buy another cow to breed. As the cows have calves each year, her overall number of cattle will increase and thus increase the amount of milk and meat she is able to sell. Additional profit earned will help Gohar further develop her business and overcome seasonal fluctuations. She will then be able to better provide for her family and save for her future.
In the future, Gohar wants to keep expanding her cattle business and be financially stable.
The Agriculture business sector covers all farming and livestock activities. Some entrepreneurs request loans to help in securing supplies and equipment. Others want to buy more animals to breed or purchase feed and medicines. The majority of our loan clients live in rural communities where agriculture is already understood as a business model.
