Tadelech's Story

Tadelech likes making her living from agriculture. She is optimistic and feels that she is in a good position for her farm to be successful. She has limited resources: “If I get a loan, I can start another business. I can buy cattle and sheep for fattening. I can easily make a profit,” she said.

A World Vision micro loan will allow Tadelech to buy fertilizer and expand her business from the profits of a greater crop yield. She also wants to participate in cattle and sheep fattening to generate more income.

With additional profits, Tadelech can pay her loan, reinvest in her farm and begin animal fattening. She can send her children to a good school.

Others want to buy more animals to breed or purchase feed and medicines. The majority of our loan clients live in rural communities where agriculture is already understood as a business model. It is for this reason that approximately 50% of our loans are in the agricultural sector.
