Taschale is a sheep farmer who enjoys her work. This loan from World Vision allows her to buy more sheep for fattening up and increase her profits. She supplies sheep to the local meat market. The number of her customers is increasing and her business is becoming profitable.
Taschale feels confident in her business and works hard to generate more income. In the past it was hard to get ahead of the expenses, and lack of financial help was an obstacle to effectively manage her business. Now she has a future plan to expand her business by buying young cattle to raise.
As the mother of two children, Taschale wants to improve her family's quality of life and cover the costs of schooling and clothing for her children.
The Agriculture business sector covers all farming and livestock activities. Some entrepreneurs request loans to help in securing supplies and equipment. Others want to buy more animals to breed or purchase feed and medicines. The majority of our loan clients live in rural communities where agriculture is already understood as a business model. It is for this reason that approximately 50% of our loans are in the agricultural sector.
