Ana Bertha Lazo Ramirez lives in the community of Tetela, Mexico which is a sugarcane area just a few minutes away from one of the most important precincts in the state of Oaxaca. Ana Bertha's husband, David, works as a laborer in the field and she supplements that income by selling sodas. She has been selling sodas for the past two years. Ana Bertha keeps her supplies at home and mostly sells to her neighbors and friends. She has a good relationship with her customers and they return time and time again to purchase sodas from her.
In order for her business to grow and become more profitable Ana Bertha needs to purchase different kinds of sodas to sell. A loan from World Vision will allow her to buy the products that she needs and Ana Bertha believes this will help her business succeed.
Ana Bertha is 38 years old and completed her education up to 2nd grade of high school. She and David have three children who are already married.
