Jum's Story

Jum grows rice and vegetables. She also provides a battery charging service in her village. Recently, public electricity became available in the area so Jum’s battery charging business has declined.

With a loan from World Vision, Jum is able to invest more money in her farm to make up for the loss of income from her battery charging business. She will increase the amount of rice that she grows to increase her revenue. With the additional income, she will be able to provide for her family’s expenses and reduce their hardships.
