Eneyda's Story

Eneyda Pastrana Avila lives in Tierra Blanca community, in the state of Guerrero. She works selling Mexican snacks like sopes (fried tortilla topped with refried beans, onion and hot sauce), fried tacos, tostadas, enchiladas, quesadillas and other items. She is asking for funding from World Vision to purchase additional items such as different types of chilies, tomatoes, meat and spices so that she add more items to her menu.

Eneyda is single and has no children, but she does support and care for her elderly parents. All of her income goes towards providing for their needs. While her business is fairly successful, she is wanting to increase her business so that she can provide a better quality of life for her parents.

It has always been Eneyda's dream to have her own restaurant. If she is able to increase her business, she would be able to save enough so that she could rent a space, or maybe even have a place built, for her restaurant. She is a hard worker and wants to make her parents proud of her.
