With a loan from World Vision, Demetria plans to purchase items such as eggs, rice, sugar, soap, and other inventory in order to expand her business. The additional income she will earn will help provide basic necessities for herself and her family.
Demetria is sixty five years old and a widow. She has nine children, two of whom are still in school. With this loan, Demetria will be able to better support their education. She will have a larger, well stocked store, and will be able to provide a better life for her family. In the future, Demetria plans to continue to invest in her business, and to buy a new stove.
