Paula's Story

Paula enjoys the young people who buy her food and candies from the grocery of a Junior High School. She and her husband Victor had been facing many economic problems before getting this loan support. Sales were decreasing due to the economy. She has confidence now that their income will improve.

With a loan from World Vision she will invest in the purchase of a blender, the candies and ingredients needed to cook the food: such as tomatoes, chilies, onions, rice, beans, salt and oil. Her short term goal is to invest in her business and grow it. Her heart’s desire is to build a Mexican food restaurant.

Paula and Victor have 2 children whose names are Jennifer and Victor. Jennifer is in High School, second level. Victor Jr. is in the fourth grade of Elementary School. Paula started her business to help her children in their education. She and her husband are grateful for this loan, and for how it will improve their family’s quality of life and economic stability. Her children will be able to pursue professional careers.
