Your gift to help a hardworking entrepreneur will double in impact thanks to a generous World Vision partner.
Mulunesh is from Ethiopia. She has 7 children. She needs a loan of $250 to purchase fertilizer and seeds.
Mulunesh is the mother of seven children and makes her living by growing vegetables. She enjoys her job and says, “There is a demand for my crops. I want to keep on doing my business so I can get more income.” Currently, she cannot add additional crops because of the lack of funds. A micro loan from World Vision will enable her to purchase seeds and fertilizer so that she can increase her crop yield.
When her income increases, she will be able to provide nutritious food, clothing, medical care, and an education for her children so they can live a better life.
In the future, she would like to purchase some cattle to raise.
The Agriculture business sector covers all farming and livestock activities. Some entrepreneurs request loans to help in securing supplies and equipment. Others want to buy more animals to breed or purchase feed and medicines. The majority of our loan clients live in rural communities where agriculture is already understood as a business model. It is for this reason that approximately 50% of our loans are in the agricultural sector.

Mulunesh Muliso has successfully repaid her small business loan. She invested the $250 for her farming business.
Thanks to the loan that she received, Mulunesh was able to use the profits from her business to provide healthcare, do home repairs and purchase food for her family. In the future, Mulunesh aspires to earn enough to start a new business, expand her current business, and repair or expand their home.
Mulunesh's seven children continue to study in school. Because she was able to invest in her business, she will be able to invest in her family.
Thank you for investing in the power of hardworking people like Mulunesh through World Vision! These funds are now available to help other entrepreneurs in Mulunesh's community.
