Ersulo is from Ethiopia. She needs a loan of $350 to purchase seeds and fertilizer.
Ersulo has a small farm and works hard to keep it going. He needs to increase his income so he can provide for his family and a micro loan from World Vision will help him do that. “The demand for my crop is increasing”, he says, and he wants to be able to supply the customers in his community. He enjoys farming and wants to do it as efficiently as possible. With a loan, he will be able to purchase seeds and fertilizer to increase his crop yield.
When Ersulo’s income increases, he will be able to provide nutritious food, clothing, medical care, and an education for his children.
In the future, he would like to purchase some cattle to raise.

The Agriculture business sector covers all farming and livestock activities. Some entrepreneurs request loans to help in securing supplies and equipment. Others want to buy more animals to breed or purchase feed and medicines. The majority of our loan clients live in rural communities where agriculture is already understood as a business model.
