Teyiba's Story

Brought up in a rural area, Teyiba, the mother of two, has a lot of experience in rearing cattle and farming. She works long hours with her husband in the field and is optimistic that if she keeps investing in her farm, she can make good profits.

Financial constraints have become a serious challenge for Teyiba and she's requesting a World Vision microloan to buy fertilizer and an ox to maximize her harvest this growing season.

The additional income will allow her to provide her community with high-quality crops. Teyiba has a plan to participate in cattle fattening for even more profits in the futute.

Others want to buy more animals to breed or purchase feed and medicines. The majority of our loan clients live in rural communities where agriculture is already understood as a business model. It is for this reason that approximately 50% of our loans are in the agricultural sector.
