Your gift to help a hardworking entrepreneur will double in impact thanks to a generous World Vision partner.
Teyiba is from Ethiopia. She has 2 children. She needs a loan of $125 to purchase fertilizer and an ox.
Brought up in a rural area, Teyiba, the mother of two, has a lot of experience in rearing cattle and farming. She works long hours with her husband in the field and is optimistic that if she keeps investing in her farm, she can make good profits.
Financial constraints have become a serious challenge for Teyiba and she's requesting a World Vision microloan to buy fertilizer and an ox to maximize her harvest this growing season.
The additional income will allow her to provide her community with high-quality crops. Teyiba has a plan to participate in cattle fattening for even more profits in the futute.
The Agriculture business sector covers all farming and livestock activities. Some entrepreneurs request loans to help in securing supplies and equipment. Others want to buy more animals to breed or purchase feed and medicines. The majority of our loan clients live in rural communities where agriculture is already understood as a business model. It is for this reason that approximately 50% of our loans are in the agricultural sector.
There is no community update available at this time.
Thank you for supporting a small business loan for Teyiba Ali to expand her farming and livestock business where she raises agriculture. After receiving the loan from World Vision, she invested the $125 to purchase fertilizer and an ox to help with farming.
Teyiba has been repaying her loan on time with her new profits. She makes weekly payments of $2.
In addition to repaying her loan, Teyiba is using additional income to expand her current business, provide healthcare for her family and start a new business.
Teyiba's three children continue to study in school.
