Kisajon Ene Kolila's Story

Kisajon, the mother of four, is talented and ambitious. She plans to start a curio shop from where she can sell her beads, intricate bead work and traditional Massai clothing. Lack of enough funding has been her greatest challenge to realize her dream.

A World Vision microloan will enable Kisajon to purchase the many beads and clothing inventory she needs to start her new business. She plans to open other stalls in Namanga, so that she can maximize the marketing opportunities around her and expand her business.

Any additional income will go toward ensuring her family's needs are well taken care of, her children's school fees are paid and she can continue investing in her curio shop to keep expanding her customer base. She hopes to employ at least four people in her community as her business expansion plans progress.
