Vet's Story

A mother of one, Vet is a farmer who grows rice and corn, as well as raises ducks, for a living to support her family. She desires to expand her business by buying needed farming materials, but lacks the financial resources to do so.

With a loan from World Vision Vet will be able to buy fertilizer, as well as rice and corn seeds for her farm. This will allow her to cultivate her land effectively. She will also be able to afford buying food for her ducks. With the additional profits, Vet will be able to improve her family's living conditions and send her child to school. She hopes to become a role model for her neighborhood and her community.

In the future, Vet hopes that as her income increases, she will be able to expand her farmland and plant many more crops like sesame and peanut.
