Agustina's Story

Agustina has been selling chicken and pork meat for 25 years in the community of La Selva, Mexico, near the large sugar mill known as Ingenio La Margartia.

She sells the meat to friends and people in her community by taking orders one day before making the deliveries. If ever she has any meat left, she sells it to other people in her neighborhood. Thanks to her effort and the quality of products and services she provides, she is getting more and more customers.

A loan from World Vision will allow her to buy more meat to sell. She enjoys running her business, and wants to continue investing in it.

Agustina will use her increased income to support her family and offer her children more opportunities. She is married to Aldegundo, a land worker, and they have three children who are married.
