Laura's Story

Laura is a widow who sells sandals in order to provide for herself and her son, Cristian Antonio, who is in high school. She runs the sandals store by herself, so when she travels to stock up on sandals, she has to close the business or ask someone else to help her.

With a loan from World Vision, Laura will buy better quality sandals. This will increase her sales and make it easier for her to afford closing the shop when she has to. She plans to improve her customer service as well as offer better products.

Laura's sandal shop benefits the members of her community who come to Laura to buy the shoes they need. The shop also sustains Laura and her son. Laura will use her additional income to take care of herself and her son.
