Tatere is from Ethiopia. She needs a loan of $175 to expand her small business.
Tatere makes a living selling tea and soft drinks to the locals in her community. She finds her business very interesting and a good source of income. Though she would like to expand her business to improve her quality of life, she lacks the financial capital to do so.
With a loan from World Vision Tatere will be able to buy more tea and soft drinks to sell. With the additional income, she will be able to provide for her family's basic needs. The community will also benefit as they will have convenient access to teas and soft drinks.
In the future, Tatere hopes to open her own restaurant in her area someday.
Retail is a quick and scalable way to begin earning a profit. Many entrepreneurs begin with stalls at markets or even at home and need a loan to expand or increase their inventory.
