The Agriculture business sector covers all farming and livestock activities. Some entrepreneurs request loans to help in securing supplies and equipment. Others want to buy more animals to breed or purchase feed and medicines. The majority of our loan clients live in rural communities where agriculture is already understood as a business model. It is for this reason that approximately 50% of our loans are in the agricultural sector.

Thank you for supporting a small business loan for Atilaw Dereseh to expand his grain store business. After receiving the loan from World Vision, he invested the $175 to buy more variety of grains to sell at his store.

Atilaw has been repaying his loan on time with his new profits. He makes weekly payments of $3.

In addition to repaying his loan, Atilaw is using additional income to do home repairs, purchase food for his family and expand his current business.

Atilaw's four children continue to study in school.

Atilaw

Thank you for supporting the small loan for Atilaw Dereseh to improve his grain store business. He invested his loan of $175 to buy more variety of grains to sell at his store.

Atilaw has now repaid his loan in full. In addition to repaying his loan, Atilaw has used his additional income to provide his family with healthcare, do home repairs and purchase food for his family.

Atilaw's four children continue to study in school.

The loan Atilaw received helped his business expand and the profits he is earning is creating lasting improvements in his life. In the future, Atilaw hopes to expand his current business, take out another loan and repair or expand their home.
