Perla sells perfumes, and she will use a loan from World Vision to buy more perfumes, lotions, and deodorants. Recently, she has not had enough resources to keep investing in the business and cover the expenses at home. The loan will give her another chance to continue working. When she increases her stock, she will again make enough income to help her family.
Perla would like to open an established perfume store in the future. She is willing to rent the space at first, but she is willing to work hard to one day own her own building.
Perla enjoys providing people in her community with quality personal care products, and her business also enables her to provide for her family. She and her husband, Luis, have a one-year-old child.
Perla and Luis live in Ometepec among the Amuzgo people, who are known for their sensitivity and wisdom. The Amuzgos strive to maintain a balance between society and nature.
