Guadalupe's Story

Guadalupe's primary business is selling shoes through a catalog from her home. She orders shoes based on her customers' wishes and pays for the shoes up front. Her customers then pay her back when the shoes arrive.

With the loan she will buy new catalogs to show her clients, as well as small items, such as rice, sugar, oil, beans, eggs, and non-alcoholic beverages which she offers at a reasonable price. These small items help attract more customers.

Guadalupe’s goals are: to have control of her profits, to grow her business, and to increase her customer base. Guadalupe is happy she will receive the loan because now she will help her husband with the expenses. She is grateful to those who funded her loan.

Guadalupe lives in Cuajinicuilapa, Mexico with her husband and her two daughters.
