Sokhorn, the mother of five, sells desserts for a living; her husband is a taxi driver. Due to the lack of money, she cannot expand her business. She hopes to find more customers and she wants to have good partners to supply her with the necessary materials she needs to make her desserts.
A World Vision micro loan will allow Sokhorn to purchase the supplies she needs to make her dessert business profitable.
The added income will make her family's living conditions better. Her children can attend school and she can cover school supplies and clothing after repaying her loan.
Retail is a quick and scalable way to begin earning a profit. Many entrepreneurs begin with stalls at markets or even at home and need a loan to expand or increase their inventory.
