Ayalew's Story

Ayalew, a father of one from Jawuha Negeso, Ehtopia, has a small farm where he grows crops and raises oxen. He wants to buy fertilizer to maximize his crop yield, but currently lacks the capital needed to do so.

Additional income created will allow him to reinvest in his business and provide for his family. “When my business grows, my income also increases and I can improve the lifestyle of my family. The increased income enables me to provide my family with things they need,” he said.

In the future, Ayalew wants to participate in other income generating activities like cattle fattening.
