Marlen is a single mother in Cuajinicuilapa hoping to give more time to her son. Marlen began her business selling beauty products from a catalog from house to house, but this did not leave her very much time to spend with her son. She has seen that selling from a catalog is a good business and also her clients are asking for more and more products, especially shoes.
Noting this, she would benefit from a loan so that she can increase her earnings and offer a better variety to her clients. Through this she will be able to help her son more and more.

As Mrs. Marlen continued to work in her business, she quickly found that while her costumers asked for shoes, in fact her star products were the beauty products. It is for this reason she decided to invest her loan by expanding her inventory in beauty products and investing just a little portion of the loan in shoes.
This has turned out to be a wise decision, as she says that the beauty products give her more profit.
Mrs. Marlen has repaid her loan in full.
She thanks you, the donors, as well as the staff of World Vision for helping her to improve her business. Thank you.
