Yadira is from Mexico. She has 2 children. She needs a loan of $475 to buy tomatoes, hot peppers, meat, dough, cabbage, cheese, cream, tortillas, plastic dishes, napkins, cooking oil, gas and horchata.
Yadira is a 24 year old single woman who has a high school education. She has 2 children who are in kindergarten. They live in together in Cerro Mojarra, a fishing zone in the state of Oaxaca. Yadira has a business making and selling Mexican snacks. She started her business a couple of years ago as a way to earn some extra money to support her children and to be able to provide a better quality of life and education for them. From Monday thru Friday, she sells her snacks outside the local high school. She gets up very early in the morning to cook. Then, at recess time, she gets to the school and sets up a small table where she puts out her stews. Her business is going well and every day she has more customers.
Yadira is requesting this loan to buy tomatoes, hot peppers, meat, dough, cabbage, cheese, cream, tortillas, plastic dishes, napkins, cooking oil, gas and horchata. She hopes that this investment will help her business to grow so that she can support her children thru school and to provide them a with better quality of life. She is very grateful to everybody who works with World Vision to help to provide her with this opportunity.
