For World Vision’s 2010 Day of Prayer and Action, we had the opportunity to use one of our breakout sessions to pray specifically for World Vision’s microfinance program, field partners, and entrepreneurs. We asked for specific prayer requests from Micro’s partner MFIs. Over the next few days we will be posting their prayer requests.

Please join us today in praying for Vision Fund–Rwanda. If you like, post your own prayers in the comments below.

Only 14% of Rwandese have access to any kind of bank services and only 7% have access to microfinance services.

Pray for the Rwandan poor to have access to financial services including savings, credit, and insurance.

Vision Finance—Rwanda has 13,412 active borrowers

Pray for wisdom, endurance, and patience as they work to build their businesses and care for their families.
Pray for the entrepreneurs that they will be blessed.
Pray for staff, that they will be able to properly serve the borrowers, and manage the loan programs.

The Global Economic crisis has reduced savings, which means even traditional lenders have less to loan. This places an extra burden on the microfinance institutions to support local economies.

Pray for the end of financial crisis that affects the world and especially for its impact on the poorest people.

Over a three-month period in 1994, nearly 1 million Rwandans were killed in the largest genocide Africa has seen in modern times. Political and ethnic tensions continue to challenge peace building and reconciliation efforts in communities throughout the nation.

Pray for an end to the violence and tension.
Pray that the people of Rwanda are able to forgive one another for past wrongs. Pray for healing of the hearts and communities.

I pray for all Rwandas to ” prosper and be in health, even as their soul prospereth!” May God open doors for financial prosperity and for an end to all violence. May they learn to forgive all who have wronged them. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!!

    Aparadekto,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We do attempt to optimize our site for most common browsers. At this time, Opera is used by only a very small percentage of our visitors so its compatibility is reviewed less often. Please keep checking back and hopefully your issues will be resolved soon.

Thanks for sharing your ideas. I would also like to state that video games have been actually evolving. Today’s technology and innovations have aided create authentic and fun games. These kind of entertainment video games were not really sensible when the real concept was first of all being tried out. Just like other forms of technological innovation, video games as well have had to progress as a result of many years. This itself is testimony for the fast growth of video games.
